Slow but sure

After my hip replacement, the hip went well, however several meds gave me issues. In and out of the hospital or ER 3x, but finally last Thursday, 10/9/25 the final hurdle was remedied. From 9/7/25 until 10/9/25 I needed 4 different catheters put in, and then out, finally on 10/9/25 the 4th one finally came out and things got better much more rapidly. The issue was never the new hip but my reaction to some meds I was given, now finally things are looking up.

I’ve not yet driven since surgery, even though my surgeon gave me the OK on 9/16. Tomorrow will be my first time. I’ll just get in my truck, drive around the block and get back out. If that feels good, I’ll drive myself to PT on Friday. I’m expecting it to go well. Then next week I need to pack more syrup, I’m very low on dark and low on amber. Once I get those restocked I’ll start getting the sugarhouse ready for the 2026 season, and then I’ll have my grandson bring my ATV back so I can use it to start working lines for the season. I have repairs needed on my mainlines and all new laterals and drops. Then I need to reset my tanks, and ready the sugarhouse.
